Hatton National Bank has signed a partnership with Lexington (Pvt) Ltd, the Melbourne representative of Global ISE, to give selected customers access to international education, training, business and sporting opportunities in Australia.
The agreement was inaugurated at HNB's head office in Colombo on October 1, 2026.
Under the partnership, eligible HNB customers will be able to explore programmes with Australian universities, government institutions and international sporting organisations. The offerings include programmes focused on leadership, business capabilities and sporting excellence.
HNB chief operating officer Sanjay Wijemanne and executive vice president and head of network business Supun Dias represented the bank at the signing. Gayani Jayasinghe, director of Lexington (Pvt) Ltd, signed on behalf of the Melbourne company.
The partnership is designed to broaden the range of international pathways available to HNB's customer base, linking them with Australian institutions through Lexington's role as the local representative of Global ISE in Melbourne.
Further details on specific programmes and how customers can apply are expected to be released by HNB in the coming weeks.
