Cricket Australia's Multicultural Ambassadors joined fans and the governing body's marketing team at the Aviary Hotel in Abbotsford on Tuesday, October 20, for a watch party as Australia's women took on New Zealand in the second T20I of their series.

Australia won the match, extending their lead in the series to 2-0.

The event, held at the venue's W Club, brought together cricket supporters from Melbourne's multicultural communities to watch the reigning world champions in action on the big screen.

Guests mixed cricket with conversation, with Cricket Australia using the night to highlight its multicultural engagement work alongside the growth of the women's game.

The watch party was one of a series of community events Cricket Australia has run around the T20I series, aimed at bringing fans from diverse backgrounds together to follow the national women's team.

Australia and New Zealand play the third T20I of the series next, with the Australians looking to seal the series on the back of their 2-0 start.
