Sydney FC have confirmed ten new signings and thirteen re-signed players for the 2026/27 A-League Women season, headlined by the return of Golden Boot winner Riley Cohn and captain Nat Tobin. The club published the full list of player movements on its website on Saturday, October 3.

Cohn, formerly known as Riley Tanner and a Panama international, rejoins Sydney FC after finishing as the competition's top scorer during the 2025/26 campaign. Tobin returns to lead the side again after giving birth to her son, Charlie.

Goalkeeper Jada Whyman, described by the club as its record appearance maker, comes back to Sydney FC after two seasons playing in Sweden. She joins a squad coached by James Slaveski that blends overseas recruits with graduates from the club's own development pathway.

American defender Kiley Dulaney arrives from USL side Dallas Trinity to fill a fullback role, while striker Faith Webber joins from Denver Summit after a loan spell at Tampa Bay Sun. Midfielder Kenzie Roling, 23, moves from the U.S. college system after starting all 21 matches for Iowa Hawkeyes in 2025.

Defender Amy Chessari switches from Western Sydney Wanderers, where she led the A-League Women competition in tackles won over the past two seasons. Junior Matildas goalkeeper Annabelle Croll also arrives from the Wanderers.

Four players have been promoted from Sydney FC's Female Development Squad and junior ranks. Teenage striker Jada Taylor and Junior Matilda Abbie Puckett step up to the senior Ninja A-League side, while 18-year-old central defender Poppy Channing signs her first professional contract after joining from UNSW in the NSW NPL. Sophie Aungle, who arrives from the Western Sydney Academy, becomes the youngest member of the squad.

Willa Pearson has signed a two-year contract extension after what the club described as an incredible breakout campaign. Midfielder Sarah Hunter has committed to another season back in Sky Blue following a stint with Paris FC, and central defender Charlotte McLean has agreed to a further two years after joining late last season.

Seventeen-year-old defender Rubi Sullivan has extended her stay at the club ahead of the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, while Junior Matildas goalkeeper Alyse Oppedisano has recommitted for 2026/27. Tiahna Robertson returns after a number of first-team appearances last season, and teenage midfielder Claire Corbett has signed on for a further two seasons.

Ten players have left the club. Jodi Ulkekul has retired, while Tori Tumeth, Mackenzie Hawkesby, Heather Hinz, Madison Ayson, Skye Halmarick, Hana Lowry, Riley Tanner, Claudia Valletta and Kirsty Fenton have all departed Sydney FC.

The club's full list of ins and outs was published as pre-season preparations begin ahead of the 2026/27 A-League Women campaign.
